Early childhood education and care has never simply been just a career for me, it has always been where my heart is. With 17 years of experience in early childhood education, I have had the privilege of working across a range of roles including Educator, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and Centre Director. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to providing children with the very best start in life, recognising that the early years are the foundation upon which confidence, curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning are built.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and genuinely seen. My passion lies in fostering environments where children can explore, discover, and develop at their own pace through meaningful relationships, and authentic learning experiences.
As a leader I strive to create a culture built on trust, collaboration, and respect. I naturally lead with a nurturing heart and pride myself on being open-minded, non-biased, and non-judgemental. These qualities allow me to approach every child, family, and educator with fairness, empathy, and understanding while encouraging others to grow with confidence and feel a true sense of belonging.
I am particularly passionate about designing warm, welcoming and inspiring learning environments that act as the “third teacher” drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy. I value spaces that invite curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and wonder where children’s voices are respected, their ideas are celebrated and learning emerges naturally through exploration and inquiry.
For me early childhood education is far more than a profession, it is a genuine calling. It’s about nurturing childhood, building relationships, creating lasting memories, and helping lay the foundations for confident, compassionate, and capable young people. I feel incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love every single day and I hope that passion shines through in everything I do.
